Today marks the 50th year of Fr. Chucks ordination ! Glory to God for his many years of service. ✝
STEWARDSHIP MOMENT: "l give you a new commandment: love one another. As I have loved you, so you also should love one another." (John 13:34) lt is easy to love someone when they love you back. But it takes strength and courage to love someone when we feel unappreciated, used, or feel our opinion or point of view doesn't matter. It takes courage to "love my neighbor when he or she may be someone I don't like, someone I don't know, or someone that doesn't look like me
IDENTIFYING ON-LINE PREDATORS: Some copies of The Catholic Mutual Group directions on this topic are available at each Church. Ask Fr. Chuck if you can't locate them, They are three pages in length and we only printed several copies, so as not to waste paper if people are not concerned about this. We truly should be, so hopefully we will be happy to provide copies if you ask for this information.
OPEN TO HOPE: "We live in an age of non-stop information, not knowledge, not wisdom,* just information. All these conflicting bits and chunks of data are competing with us for the very souls of our children (and adults too). lf we don't explain and demonstrate to our children why our Catholic Faith is logical, coherent, cohesive, consistent and beautiful, they will have no reason to stick wlth it when the rest of the world tells them it is stupid, superstitious, oppressive, irrelevant and evil." (Leila Miller, from Raislng Chaste Catholic Men)
WE ARE HIS PEOPLE, THE SHEEP OF HIS FLOCK.
"A HEADS-UP": The summer schedule for Christ the King, that is, adding a Sunday morning Mass at 9:00 AM, from June to September, will be delayed ONE week this coming first weekend of June. Fr. Chuck will be away that weekend and Fr. Schuster will take the weekend Masses at all locations. Fr. Chuck will begin the I AM Sunday morning Mass at Christ the King, Tokio, on June 9th.
TRAINING: We have purchased and installed on the interior back wall at all three Church locations, an AED Cabinet (Automatic External Defibrillator) to assist anyone who might have a heart attack while at Mass, or other Church functions. lt is important that as many of us as possible are trained on how to use it, should it be needed. A trainer will come to offer us that training. lt takes but a few minutes, since the machine "talks to you step by step.' So when we set this event up, please stay for the training after Mass. We will repeat this Invitation again to give you advance notice, since some are not always regular in attending Mass, and need this information--and we need as many as possible to be capable in offering this emergency response and aid.

STEWARDSHIP MOMENT: "The disciples were filled with joy and the Holy spirit." (Acts 13:52) The disciples heard the Lord's call and were able to spread the Gospel message with strength and vitality. We, too, can experience the same joy if we make room for the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts. When we use our gifts in the way God intends, He fills us with supernatural joy. A joy that others notice and are attracted to.
Open to Hope: "It is a characteristic of any decaying civilization that the great masses of the people are unaware of the tragedy. Humanity in a crisis is generally insensitive to the gravity of the times in which it lives. Men and women do not want to believe their own times are wicked, partly because they have no standard outside of themselves by which to measure their times. If there is no fixed concept of Justice how shalt men and women know it is violated? only those who live by faith really know what is happening in the world; the great masses without faith are unconscious of the destructive processes going on, because they have lost the vision of the heights from which they have fallen'" (The venerable servant of God, Archbishop Fulton t. Sheen) How much does this identify or reflect our times, as we live in a post-Christian world and American culture today?
